As soon as you start to think about your business, an accountant can help you take the next steps. We can discuss your business's organization, tax purposes and operations, along with target pricing and profit margins.
Does your accountant return your calls? Do you feel comfortable asking them a question? Do you feel heard? With the right accountant, the answers should be a resounding "Yes!"
I live in southern California. I also maintain a residence in New Mexico. Because my business is virtual, I am able to serve clients all over the country.
I do not at this time. My background is in financial analysis and consulting. However, I am currently enrolled in a tax preparation course. I will also gladly communicate with your tax professional when tax time comes around, if necessary, but when a business has good bookkeeping, the tax prep should be a breeze.
My rates vary depending on the nature and complexity of your business. After an initial, free consultation, I will have a better sense of the size and scope of your business. I will put together a proposal for a monthly (or quarterly) price. I do offer training in Quickbooks Online for custom hourly rates depending on the scope of the project.
Hopefully, not very much! During the first few months as I am learning your business, I will have more questions than I will once we get into a routine. I always do my best to research things on my own and minimize my questions. We will have a monthly conference call to review your financial statements and look at ways to improve your profitability.
